Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Health IT Specialist to join our team. This role offers flexibility in work arrangements, including full-time, part-time, and temporary positions. The Health IT Specialist will be responsible for managing and improving our healthcare IT systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of health IT systems.
• Ensure the security and integrity of patient data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues related to healthcare systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their IT needs and provide solutions.
• Manage electronic health records (EHR) and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures for the healthcare environment.
• Train staff on the use of health IT systems.
• Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest health IT trends and best practices.

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional experience in health IT or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of health IT systems, including EHR and other healthcare software.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Health IT Certification, CompTIA A+) are a plus.
