Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage a range of kidney-related disorders, including but not limited to chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, glomerulonephritis, and electrolyte imbalances.
• Conduct patient consultations both in-person and via telemedicine, ensuring thorough and precise nephrology assessments.
• Perform necessary procedures and interpret diagnostic tests, such as kidney biopsies, dialysis management, and renal function testing, based on patient conditions.
• Prescribe appropriate treatments, including medications, lifestyle changes, and dialysis as required.
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary medical team to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex kidney conditions.
• Participate in case discussions, and peer consultations, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the hospital and clinic.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records using our Health Management Information System (HMIS).
• Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the expansion of nephrology services at Fitwell Hub.

Qualifications:

• MBBS with specialization in Nephrology (FCPS, FRCS, or equivalent certification in Nephrology).
• Valid PMDC/PMC registration.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a practicing Nephrologist, including both medical and procedural cases.
• Proficiency in telemedicine or willingness to adapt to telemedicine consultations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Skills:

• Expertise in managing various kidney disorders, including chronic kidney disease, acute renal failure, and electrolyte imbalances.
• Skilled in renal diagnostics and procedures such as dialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and kidney biopsies.
• High attention to detail and diagnostic accuracy.
• Compassionate patient care approach with an emphasis on clear communication.
• Adaptability to telemedicine and remote patient care models.
