Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological disorders, including but not limited to stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, migraines, and neuropathies.
• Conduct patient consultations both in-person and via telemedicine, ensuring accurate neurological assessments.
• Perform or interpret neurological tests, such as EEG, EMG, and MRI, to aid in diagnosis and
• treatment planning.
• Prescribe appropriate treatments, including medications, lifestyle modifications, and rehabilitative therapies.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary medical team to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex neurological conditions.
• Participate in case discussions, and peer consultations, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the hospital and clinic.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records using our Health Management Information System (HMIS).
• Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the expansion of neurology services at Fitwell Hub.

Qualifications:

• MBBS with specialization in Neurology (FCPS, FRCS, or equivalent certification in Neurology).
  Valid PMDC/PMC registration.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a practicing Neurologist, managing a variety of neurological cases.
• Proficiency in telemedicine or willingness to adapt to telemedicine consultations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Skills:

• Expertise in managing various neurological disorders, including movement disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and nerve disorders.
• Skilled in diagnostic procedures, including EEG, EMG, and neuroimaging interpretation.
• High attention to detail and strong diagnostic skills.
• Compassionate patient care approach with an emphasis on clear communication.
• Adaptability to telemedicine and remote patient care models.
