FitwellHub operates a streamlined medical hotline, enabling patients and members to connect directly with our call center.
Initial Contact: The patient/member calls the FitwellHub medical hotline. Within one step, the patient/member is connected to the FitwellHub team.
Information Collection: The call center confirms the patient’s details and collects basic and relevant information, such as symptoms, medical history, and contact details. These details are then passed to the scheduling team.
The scheduling team is immediately made aware of the need for a doctor.
Based on the contractual requirements, the most appropriate and available doctor from our pool of employed General Practitioners and family doctors is selected.
In most cases, this results in an instant appointment.
Patient Details: The doctor receives full details about the patient then continues the consultation via phone or may request the patient to connect via video, with connection details supplied via email to the patient.
Prescription and Requisition: The doctor can issue a prescription directly via email or to the nearest pharmacy in our network and can requisition tests and imaging to better diagnose the patient’s condition.
Referral and Specialist Consultation: If needed, the doctor can refer the patient directly to a consultant and also has access to instant opinions on test results, prescriptions, or any
other reports from one of our in-house specialists.
Patient Portal: During and at the end of the visit, the patient can access the patient portal to view all
notes, which are also emailed. This keeps the patient informed and ensures full accountability from our team.
Continuity of Care: Patients are scheduled for follow-up appointments to assess progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. The patient portal provides ongoing access to medical records and allows for communication with healthcare providers.
